125 years ago an eccentric cricketer named Robert Strangways Wigley established Wirra Wirra. After his passing in 1926, the estate fell into disrepair and was left to ruin until 50 years ago cousins Greg and Roger Trott resurrected the winery to create the Wirra Wirra we know today. This is a true red-letter day for Wirra Wirra.
Celebrate with us in the Wirra Wirra Ironstone Cellar, as we enjoy a three-course long lunch cooked by award-winning Fleurieu Chef, Simon Burr from The Olfactory Inn. Wirra Wirra wines will include a back vintage of our flagship RSW Shiraz and the famous Church Block.
