  • Harry’s Deli – a relaxed provedore style café boasting a menu full of South Australian regional produce
  • Behind the scenes tours of our winery and historic ironstone cellars, ideal for couples or small groups touring the region
  • Spacious gardens that are the perfect location to enjoy a regional platter or family BBQ
  • RS Wigley Room, a state of the art meeting area in our original ironstone cellars

Harry’s Deli

Named in honour of Harry, the carpenter in residence here at Wirra Wirra for so many years. Harry was a much loved McLaren Vale local, originally from Lithuania. After missing his ship to Canada where he and a few mates were set to join the Royal Canadian Mounties (after overdoing their farewell drinks the previous evening) Harry boarded the next ship departing the dock — which was bound for Australia. The intricate wood working and building features found at Wirra Wirra are a credit and lasting memory to Harry – as is the deli that bears his name.

Gardens & BBQ

The Wirra Wirra experience is not confined to the cellar door. Our picturesque grounds offer lush lawns, a viewing platform over the vineyards and a covered barbecue area which you are welcome to enjoy. Whether it’s lazing in the sun with a regional platter from Harry’s Deli, or cooking up a storm on the barbecue hotplates, we encourage you to linger a little and unwind in the beautiful surrounds.

For groups up to 14 people we’ll provide our BBQ area free of charge for a couple of hours whilst you cook up a feast for lunch. Want to reserve the BBQ area for your group for the whole day? No problem! Please contact our cellar door staff for booking fee and other information on 08 8323 8414.
