Woodhenge
To say Woodhenge is a plain post-and-rail fence is akin to saying Stonehenge is little more than a pile of rubble. Woodhenge is a monument to “big” ideas and the late Greg Trott’s unique vision of what makes Wirra Wirra special and well, a bloody big fence at the winery entrance that weighs about 10 tonnes.
Built from massive red gums originating from the Flinders Ranges, north of Adelaide in South Australia, its timeless quality suggests it always belonged here, rather than originating in the fertile realms of Trotty’s imagination.
Wirra Wirra's Woodhenge Shiraz is a tribute to these BIG ideas.
